The photo essay presented here constitutes an impressive document of boxer Dariusz Michalczewski′s month long, relentless and unsparing preparation for the short fireworks of a fight. For almost five months the ‘Tiger’, as his fans call him, accepted Christian von Alvensleben as his shadow. Not one photograph is staged, not for a single second was the training interrupted, the ‘Tiger’ was always on the move. Through the incredible intensity of the over 200 photographs, a layman is able to grasp the special fascination of this extreme sport.
